Moke is introducing a lithium battery upgrade for its “Moke America” vehicle that allows for longer ranges, faster charging times, enhanced performance and improved efficiency.
Moke said the Moke America is a “20th-century collectible car” reinvented and upgraded with 21st-century sustainable electric power and compliant with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; available exclusively in the US. Each electric Moke is hand-built to order in Sarasota, FL., and customers can choose from 12 signature colors, or customize with multiple seating configurations and other options. Classified as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) or Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV), the Moke reaches a top speed of 25 MPH and is street-legal on all roads at 35 MPH or less. Drivers can plug it into any 110 outlet for 40 miles of range without a charging station.
