Design Engineering Inc. (DEI) recently released its EV Fire Blanket, which the company says has been engineered specifically for the evolving landscape of electric vehicle (EV) technology, particularly concerning lithium-polymer (LiPo) batteries and electrical systems.

With a 30-minute burn-through time, the company says the EV Fire Blanket provides a window for containment and suppression in the event of a fire. The product is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 2,700 degrees Fahrenheit.
