Genesis has revealed exterior and interior images of the new GV60, its first dedicated electric platform-based vehicle. The Genesis brand’s second electric car, GV60 is based on a dedicated full-electric E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform). The vehicle features a clamshell hood and digital side mirrors.

One noticeable feature in GV60’s interior design is the “crystal sphere,” a sphere-shaped electronic transmission control that the company says “intuitively informs the driver of oncoming driving conditions.” Genisis says the sphere features mood lights that illuminate when the vehicle is off. The center console, where the crystal sphere is located, features a fully electric platform, a slim cockpit and flat floor.
