Orange EV ranked No. 1 in deployment of ZETs by CALSTART

Together, over 60% of Zero-Emission Trucks (ZETs) that have been deployed in the U.S. are believed to be currently non-operational. However, of all operational ZETs, Orange EV had the most deployed vehicles in the United States with 162, according to a published inventory of Class 2b-8 zero-emission trucks (ZETs) from CALSTART, a non-profit consortium. To date, Orange EV says it has deployed 370 trucks.

CALSTART’s “Zeroing in on Zero-Emission Trucks” provides insight on ZET market trends as the industry prepares for an injection of federal funding for charging infrastructure, multiple states implement clean truck regulations, and California prepares to release an additional $873 million in purchase incentives for commercial vehicles and infrastructure.
