Everrati delivers its first electric Land Rover Series IIa to the US

The vehicle is based on a 1971 Series IIa, which has been restored with an EV powertrain that has a range of up to 150 miles.

Everrati delivered its first electric Land Rover Series IIa in the United States. The company said the Land Rover Series IIa integrates an OEM-grade electric powertrain designed and developed at Everrati’s global headquarters in Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire, England.

The ceremonial handover of the electrified Land Rover took place at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida and was given to the owner of The Polo Commission Craig Galle. Everrati said Galle owns a corporate and equestrian law practice and is passionate about cars, design, architecture and fashion.

“We’re thrilled to mark this occasion as we deliver our first electric Land Rover in the United States,” Justin Lunny, CEO of Everrati, said. “Everrati’s global growth continues to be a testament to the increasing demand for sustainable luxury, found through our high-performance technology.”

“My passion for protecting the environment led me to Everrati, where its attention to detail, passion for classic design, luxury, and sustainability presented the driving force behind partnering with this special brand,” Galle said. I am extremely proud to be able to say I am the first to own an electric Land Rover in the United States.”

The vehicle is based on a 1971 Series IIa, which has been restored with an EV powertrain that has a range of up to 150 miles, combined with regenerative braking, AC and DC fast charging capability, Everrati said. With a 60kWh battery and 150bhp and 300Nm from its electric motors, it offers both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive modes.

Everrati said its expansion in the United States is a testament to the increasing demand for its redefined electric cars, following the delivery of the first electric Porsche 911 (964) in the United States earlier this year.
