Denso deploys Beam Global solar charging stations at Tennessee campus

Denso has deployed five EV Arc solar-powered charging systems from Beam Global at its Maryville, Tennessee, location. The charging systems, which have been installed at buildings across campus, are available to all Denso employees with battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

In addition to providing employees with convenient vehicle charging options, the EV Arcs make and store their own electricity to deliver clean and renewable energy. They also monitor how much carbon is saved compared to combustion engine vehicles with each use.

The charger deployment comes as Denso is transforming its 2.6-million-sq.-ft., 4,500-person Maryville location into a manufacturing hub for electrification and safety systems.

Gage Zero to develop an EV fleet charging hub in Texas

The company will develop, own and operate the AllianceTexas EV charging hub as part of its network of sites planned throughout the U.S.

Gage Zero, an Austin-based fleet electrification solutions company that deploys and operates EV charging infrastructure, and Hillwood revealed plans to develop a Texas-based commercial EV charging facility, catering to trucks and last-mile fleets. The facility will be within AllianceTexas' 27,000-acre mixed-use development. AllianceTexas is a global logistics hub consisting of the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone (MIZ), BNSF Alliance Intermodal Facility, one of the largest intermodal hubs in the nation, Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW) and has direct access to I-35W and State Highway 170.
