Orange EV ranked No. 1 in deployment of ZETs by CALSTART

Together, over 60% of Zero-Emission Trucks (ZETs) that have been deployed in the U.S. are believed to be currently non-operational. However, of all operational ZETs, Orange EV had the most deployed vehicles in the United States with 162, according to a published inventory of Class 2b-8 zero-emission trucks (ZETs) from CALSTART, a non-profit consortium. To date, Orange EV says it has deployed 370 trucks.

Lion Electric Company reduces workforce in Canada due to Zero-Emission Transit Fund delays

In addition to the workforce reduction, Lion said it continues to undertake internal measures to reduce its cost structure.

The Lion Electric Company is reducing its workforce, combined with other cost-cutting measures, aimed at further reducing its operating expenses and aligning its cost structure to current market dynamics, the company said. The workforce reduction affects approximately 120 employees, mostly those based in Canada in overhead and product development functions. The company said this measure should not negatively impact production capacity. Following this workforce reduction, Lion will have approximately 1,150 employees, including more than 600 manufacturing positions.
