EC Electric, Lovett partner to provide EV charging at dealerships

With help from EC Electric and Lovett, Ron Tonkin Dealerships will provide customers with access to charging options.

EC Electric and Lovett will partner in an attempt to improve EV charging infrastructure for dealership employees and customers. Their most recent partnership project will focus on Ron Tonkin Dealerships, a network of automotive dealerships in the Portland metro area owned by GEE Automotive. The companies said their approach leverages horizontal directional drilling techniques, ensuring the precise and efficient deployment of EV charging infrastructure.

By joining forces with EC Electric and LOVETT, Ron Tonkin Dealerships said it aims to provide customers with access to charging options as part of its end-to-end customer solution.

“Thanks to the team from EC Electric, our dealerships are now EV-ready,” Torey Mittendorf, project manager – GEE Automotive said. “The chargers they installed have provided customers and employees a means to charge EVs, but also help us work toward our goals of commitment to sustainability and innovation.”
