The ASE Education Foundation is partnering with IC Bus to sponsor 1,000 high school students and their instructors at ASE-accredited medium/heavy truck training programs. The sponsorship will cover ASE’s xEV Electrical Safety Awareness Certification Level 1 test (ASE.com/ev).

The Foundation will collaborate with schools and their local IC Bus dealers to promote high-tech careers in the truck and bus field, ensure that the students receive electric vehicle (EV) safety training and deliver testing vouchers for the students in the 2023-24 school year.

“This partnership allows us to work directly with IC Bus dealers and our schools to promote EV safety awareness and let students earn industry-recognized credentials for working safely around this rapidly expanding technology,” Mike Coley, president of the ASE Education Foundation, said. “We shared this with our instructors at our annual instructor training conference last week and they all are looking forward to participating in this generous offering from IC Bus.”
