Redline Detection chosen for Jaguar Land Rover tool program

Jaguar Land Rover has mandated Redline Detection’s Battery + Coolant Leak Detector (BCDL) as an “essential tool” at its global dealer locations. This gives assurance that battery enclosures, battery coolant systems, and other EV components are sealed to meet all OEM and battery manufacturer warranty standards, Redline Detection says.

The BCLD is used during battery maintenance in or out of the vehicle, after battery exchange, after collisions, during preventive maintenance, and after any torsion such as towing or lifting the vehicle. This ensures that EV components are safely sealed against potential water or debris intrusion.

In 2015, Jaguar Land Rover also mandated Redline’s PowerSmoke PRO an essential tool for turbocharged and boosted vehicles.

Wallbox appoints Luis Boada as chief financial officer

Wallbox, a global provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management solutions in Barcelona, Spain, revealed that Luis Boada will join the company as chief financial officer, effective May 15.

Following a transition period, Wallbox also will propose the appointment of Jordi Lainz as a member of the board of directors during the 2024 Annual General Meeting of shareholders.
