EV Connect partners with Marriott hotels for EV charging

The companies said the partnership will ensure Marriott locations will have a reliable charging infrastructure.

EV Connect has announced an agreement with Marriott International, where Marriott properties will add and manage EV charging stations through the EV Connect platform. The companies said that this is the first agreement of this type for Marriott and ensures that participating locations can provide reliable charging infrastructure at locations within the U.S. and Canada.

Marriott properties will have the ability to choose the charging hardware deployed on the open platform, allowing them to scale EV charging needs for the unique needs of individual locations.

Lola joins forces with ABT for Formula E entry

The entry will use a powertrain co-developed by the British marque and technical partner, Yamaha Motor.

Lola Cars (Lola) introduced a new partnership with ABT, seeing the two brands unite to compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. The entry will use a powertrain co-developed by the British marque and technical partner, Yamaha Motor. The agreement to join the Formula E grid with ABT is set to be just one element of a joint venture between the two companies to explore areas of sustainable motorsport, Lola said.
