ProEV partners with Phillips Innovations

The partnership aims to develop hybridized, pre-kitted low- and high-voltage harness assemblies for electric trucks.

ProEV, a division of Electrical Components International (ECI), a high-voltage cable and wire harness provider for the electric industrial vehicle market, has announced a new partnership with Phillips Innovations, a division of Phillips Industries.

The companies say the partnership aims to develop hybridized, pre-kitted low-voltage and high-voltage harness assemblies for Class 8 electric and fuel-cell trucks and trailers.

“As the industry rapidly shifts toward electrification, we at ProEV are excited to announce our partnership with Phillips. This collaboration will provide Class 8 truck and trailer customers with advanced high-voltage technology, global customer support, and innovative technical expertise,” said Jarred Knecht, president of ProEV.

Hyzon adds Andrea Farace to board of directors

Farace served as executive vice president at Wirecard Card Solutions Limited.

Hyzon Motors has appointed Andrea Farace to its board of directors. Farace will serve on the nominating and governance committee as an independent director.

Hyzon says Farace gained more than 40 years of financial services experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate banking, treasury and transaction services, retail and consumer finance, and fintech, with over 20 years in global leadership roles at Citigroup. Farace's banking background is complemented by time as a public company CEO and experience in global operating roles across North America, Japan, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Hyzon says.
