Penske adds Orange EV electric terminal trucks to its fleet offering

Penske Truck Leasing is adding Orange EV electric terminal trucks for use with customers across the U.S. The vehicles are designed for trailer-handling operations in truck yards, warehousing and distribution centers, container terminals and related operations where short-distance moves are required.

These units will be leased and maintained by Penske. Charging will take place in the customer’s yard, plugging in when the vehicles are not in operation.

Orange EV says notable features and benefits of its trucks include:

Zero tailpipe emissions
Regenerative braking with 50% shorter stopping distance
Operates up to 24 hours on a single charge
Digital cab architecture
Remote diagnostic capabilities

Canoo to export LDV 130 and LDV 190 delivery vehicles to Saudi Arabia

Jazeera Paints will be deploying Canoo’s LDV 130 and LDV 190 delivery vehicles within its existing fleet in Saudi Arabia.

Canoo signed a vehicle sales agreement with Jazeera Paints, which will initially purchase 20 of Canoo's EVs into its fleet this year, with the option to expand to up to 180 additional vehicles. This agreement taps into the Saudi Arabian EV market, which commands a total addressable market (TAM) of over $30 billion. It aligns with initiatives within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region to enhance sustainable mobility solutions, Canoo said.
