NovaCharge deploys chargers at Disney Springs garages

Reedy Creek Improvement District (Reedy Creek) has deployed NovaCharge NC-8000 EV chargers and the ChargeUP next-generation EVSE cloud network solution at multiple garages at the Disney Springs entertainment complex. Reedy Creek manages land use and environmental protection for 19 landowners, including the Walt Disney Company. The deployment marks a leap forward in EVSE services for the Disney Springs garages.

NovaCharge replaced another supplier’s solution that had continual frequent outages at over 50% of the installed chargers and were offering substandard response times to frequent service requests, the company says.

NovaCharge deployed nine NC-8000 Level 2 charging units across the three garages and migrated the customer to its next-generation ChargeUP cloud solution.

Phoenix Motor, InductEV partner on wireless charging solution for commercial vehicles

This partnership will provide Phoenix’s customers with the option to select wireless inductive charging for use in duty cycles and recurring routes.

Phoenix Motor, a manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses and electrification solutions provider for medium-duty vehicles, introduced an integration agreement with InductEV. The new partnership will develop software, hardware, cooling and electrical systems integration of InductEV’s wireless charging pads with Phoenix’s zero-emission drive systems. This partnership will provide Phoenix’s customers with the option to select wireless inductive charging for use in duty cycles and recurring routes.
