Bollinger chooses Our Next Energy for electric truck batteries

Bollinger Motors is partnering with Our Next Energy to receive modular linkable Aries battery packs to power its all-electric commercial platforms and chassis cabs.

The company says it designed its all-electric class 4 through class 6 chassis cabs to have large payloads, sufficient range, durability, and longevity.

Bollinger will launch its class 4 chassis cab designed to hold one or two battery packs. Class 5 platforms for walk-in van upfits will follow. Bollinger expects the packs to be available for its anticipated start of production in late 2023.

Canoo to export LDV 130 and LDV 190 delivery vehicles to Saudi Arabia

Jazeera Paints will be deploying Canoo’s LDV 130 and LDV 190 delivery vehicles within its existing fleet in Saudi Arabia.

Canoo signed a vehicle sales agreement with Jazeera Paints, which will initially purchase 20 of Canoo's EVs into its fleet this year, with the option to expand to up to 180 additional vehicles. This agreement taps into the Saudi Arabian EV market, which commands a total addressable market (TAM) of over $30 billion. It aligns with initiatives within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region to enhance sustainable mobility solutions, Canoo said.
