Battle Motors’ newly expanded production facility in New Philadelphia, Ohio, is open and fully operational. The factory’s size has increased from 125,000 sq. ft. to 325,000 sq. ft. The facility is where Battle Motors manufactures purpose-built diesel, CNG (Clean Natural Gas) and all-electric vehicles.
The expansion includes additional production lines, shipping bays and receiving docks, as well as new technologies utilized for fabrication, paint application and vehicle assembly.
Battle Motors says it invested $32 million in the facility to jump-start fabrication, production capacity, and vehicle delivery.
Looking down the road ahead, company leadership notes Battle Motors owns additional acreage adjacent to the new facility where the build-out of new assets are planned. These include R&D and prototype fabrication spaces and a test track, the company says.
